A Couple that loves to Teach Dancing! Lance and Elena, owners of Sundance Ballroom Lance Sexton grew up around ballroom dancing with both parents being dance teachers. He brings 30+ years of dance experience as a world class professional dance competitor. His dance background includes extensive training with World and United States champions. He is certified as a Master of Dance Instruction and is registered as a professional dance teacher through the National Dance Council of America. Lance has won numerous Championships and titles during his career. Lance is one of only a few professionals to win major dance championships in all four styles of Ballroom and Latin including Mid-United States Open American Rhythm Champion, Mid-United States Rising Star Latin Champion, Southern States Rising Star Standard Champion, and Illinois State (Chicago Star Ball) Open American Smooth Champion. Lance has also placed in the top three at the prestigious Ohio Star Ball, Grand Nationals, and the North American Imperial Star Championships. Elena Sexton. Lance married his beautiful wife Elena in 2015, are happily partners in life and professional dance partners. Together they share their love for dance and each other in their dance performances.Originally from Russia, Elena is a professional dance instructor certified in American Rhythm. She received her dance training in Russia in International Style and continues her performing and teaching in all styles including International Latin. Both Lance and Elena have participated in dance sport competitions as well as charity events that benefit the needs of the county and its residents. They love to teach social, showcase, and competition dance! Elena is a registered professional with the National Dance Council of America. |
